Plagiarism Policy
Clinical Research in Internal Medicine (CRIM) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts are expected to be the authors’ own original work and must appropriately cite and acknowledge the work of others.
All submissions are screened for plagiarism using recognized plagiarism detection software prior to peer review and, where necessary, during the editorial process.
Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and includes, but is not limited to:

Direct plagiarism

Self-plagiarism

Mosaic plagiarism

Data or image manipulation

Redundant or duplicate publication
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be handled in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Depending on the severity, actions may include:

Immediate rejection of the manuscript

Request for clarification or revision

Notification to authors’ institutions or funding bodies

Retraction of published articles, where applicable
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions comply with ethical standards and that all sources are properly cited.
The journal reserves the right to take appropriate action at any stage of the publication process if plagiarism or unethical publication practices are identified.
