Editorials

This section publishes editorials that address important issues, emerging trends, and strategic perspectives in internal medicine and clinical research.

Editorials are typically commissioned by the Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board and may accompany original research articles, special issues, or thematic collections. Submissions should provide authoritative insights, contextual analysis, or commentary of broad relevance to clinicians, researchers, and policymakers.

Editorials do not present original research data and are evaluated through editorial assessment rather than external peer review. All editorials must adhere to ethical standards, including transparency of conflicts of interest and funding disclosures.

Original Research Articles

This section publishes original, high-quality clinical research that advances knowledge and practice in internal medicine.

Manuscripts should present novel findings derived from sound scientific methodology, including but not limited to clinical trials, observational studies, diagnostic or prognostic research, and translational clinical investigations.

Submissions must clearly describe study objectives, methodology, statistical analysis, results, and clinical relevance. All manuscripts are subject to rigorous peer review and must comply with ethical standards, including institutional review board approval, informed consent (where applicable), and conflict of interest disclosure.

Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses

This section publishes high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses that synthesize existing evidence to inform clinical practice and policy in internal medicine.

Submissions must be based on clearly defined research questions and follow established methodological standards, including PRISMA, Cochrane, or equivalent international guidelines. Authors are required to describe search strategies, study selection criteria, data extraction methods, risk of bias assessment, and statistical analyses in sufficient detail to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Meta-analyses should include appropriate quantitative synthesis with heterogeneity assessment and sensitivity analyses where applicable. All submissions are subject to rigorous peer review and must adhere to ethical standards, including disclosure of conflicts of interest and funding sources.

Short Communications

This section publishes Short Communications that report concise and significant research findings, preliminary results, methodological advances, or novel observations of immediate relevance to the scientific and clinical community.

Submissions should be focused, clearly structured, and supported by appropriate data, while maintaining the scientific rigor of full-length articles. Short Communications may present early-stage results, pilot studies, or timely updates that merit rapid dissemination.

All Short Communications are subject to peer review and must comply with the journal’s ethical standards, including approval by relevant ethics committees, informed consent where applicable, and disclosure of conflicts of interest.
